How to export Google Forms responses (CSV)
Google Forms downloads every response as a CSV in three clicks — completely free.
Open your form and click the Responses tab
Open your form in Google Forms. At the top of the form, click Responses — you'll see the response count and a summary of answers so far.
More (⋮) → Download responses (.csv)
Click the More icon (three dots) and choose Download responses (.csv). You get every answer in one spreadsheet-ready file — each question becomes a column, each respondent a row.

How to export SurveyMonkey results
SurveyMonkey supports full exports to CSV/XLS — note that exporting is a paid plan feature.
Open your survey’s Analyze results section
In SurveyMonkey, open your survey and go to the Analyze results section — that's where live results and exports live.
Export → New export → choose an export type
Select Export from the top toolbar and choose New export. Pick Individual responses when you want each respondent's written answers row by row (best for AI analysis), or Question summaries for per-question charts.
Pick CSV (or XLS) and export
Choose the file format — CSV, XLS, PDF, PPT, or SPSS — then select Export. A notification appears when your download is ready, and SurveyMonkey keeps export files for 14 days. CSV and XLS contain the same raw data; long written answers can land in extra sheets, so check the file before uploading.
