How to Export Amazon Reviews to CSV — the Compliant Way

Export the Amazon reviews you wrote (official data request)

Amazon lets you download the personal data tied to your account — including the reviews and ratings you've submitted — through its privacy self-service. Four steps, no tools.

   Sign in and open the data request page

   On Amazon.com go to Account & Lists → scroll to the Personalize your experience section → choose Request your data (or open Amazon's “Request your personal information” help page linked below and follow it).

   Select the data categories you want

   Amazon shows a list of data categories with check boxes. Select the ones related to reviews and your ordering activity, enter a delivery email address, and submit the request.

   Wait for the email, download the ZIP

   Amazon prepares the package and emails you a download link — usually within a few hours to a couple of days, depending on the amount of data. The link expires after a few days, so download it promptly.

   Find the review files inside

   Open the ZIP and look for the review-related files (review text and star ratings you submitted — exact file names vary). For KnowVault, put your reviews into a CSV with rating and review columns — that's all the uploader needs.

Export seller feedback from Seller Central (for sellers)

   Log in to Seller Central

   This path is for Amazon sellers on their own account. It doesn't need any third-party tool — the report comes from Amazon itself.

   Open the Feedback Manager

   In the top menu hover over Performance → click Feedback. You land on Feedback Manager with your rating breakdown.

   Download the feedback report

   Click Download feedback report (or the date-range download option on the Feedback subtab). You get a tabular file — Date, Rating, Comments, Your Response, Order ID, Rater Email — covering buyer feedback about your service (shipping, packaging), which is different from product reviews on the detail page.

   Mind what this report is — and is not

   The Feedback report is not the product review list: Amazon has no official export for product-detail-page reviews (confirmed on Seller Central's own seller forum). Don't buy “amazon review exporter” scraping tools for that — scraping violates Amazon's terms and risks your account.

Seller Central has confirmed in its seller forum that customer product reviews cannot be exported to Excel/CSV — the Feedback report is the export Amazon does provide.

Why there is no “export product reviews” button on Amazon
